$320,000

Sale includes 336 and 340 E Main St (two adjacent lots, one house). Data herein is only for 340 E. Main St. This house was purchased by a couple who started a family and saved their pennies while they rented a small apartment in Blandon and dreamed of a better life. They waited for the perfect house in the perfect location in which to fulfill all their hopes, dreams and ambitions. They found it here; two adjoining lots totaling 0.34 acres containing one house on the border of Kutztown Park and close to everything! What a score! This property was the answer to their prayers and the two lots gave them plenty of room for their dream organic garden! The soil here is great and they love their yellow raspberries! The house needed some work when they bought it and fortunately, the husband is a highly skilled professional craftsman. Together, since January of 2021 this energetic couple has renovated this house and transformed it into their forever, child safe dream home where they had planned to put down their roots, raise their family and build their dream life here in Kutztown. They hosted many gatherings and garden tours, filling the entire property with love and laughter. The owners were very happy here. They poured their blood, sweat and tears into this home to make it theirs, hiring the right professionals to do for them what they could not do on their own. They did a ton of work to this house (please see Seller’s Disclosure for details) including adding a half bath, completely redoing and expanding the kitchen, insulating, installing some very expensive wool-backed no VOC wall to wall carpeting (safe for children, minimal out-gassing for a healthy indoor air quality), concrete work, heating system upgrades, fresh high quality paint, having 21 new high quality windows (with transferrable warranty – ask agent for details) installed, and so much more! No expense was spared to make this home beautiful, healthy, child safe and perfect for their family to live in happily ever after. They weren’t planning to sell it but life happened and they had to relocate. So they found the perfect tenant to take care of their dream home in their absence so that they could one day return. Reality has set in and they now know that they will not be returning to their dream home in Kutztown and they never had any ambitions to be remote landlords. They decided that it is time for them to give up this wonderful home and move on in life. So now this amazing property filled with good energy in this beautiful neighborhood bordering a big, beautiful park can be yours! You can move right in and build your own fairy-tale life in this wonderful place! Call now to schedule your private showing!
